Dear Parents,
Thank you for your support of the St. Matthew Hot Lunch Program.
1. The price of a hot lunch or one trip to the salad bar (no salad bar Q1, Q2, Q3 20202-2021 school year) is $3.50.
2. Each student’s account is separate. They are not listed under the family’s name. Money has to be deposited into each individual child's account before they start eating at the cafeteria.
3. There are several ways to pay for lunch:
a). Send a check or cash to the cafeteria and we can post it online for you. There is no fee if you pay the cafeteria directly. Please make sure to list your child’s first and last name on the envelope. If you are sending a check for a family you will need to designate the amount to be put into each child’s account. All payments will automatically be posted to ala carte (and can be used in the hot lunch line, salad bar, or ala carte) unless otherwise designated. A minimum $10.00 payment is required.
b). Go online to www.myschoolaccount.com and set up an account to use a debit card, credit card, or have money deducted from your checking or savings account to pay for lunch. (If your child/ren are new to the school, you will need their 5 digit student ID# out of Digital Academy to set up the account. When logged into Digital Academy, select the graduation cap on the left margin.) There is a $2.00 charge for each transaction to use this service. The website allows you to view your child's purchasing history. You can also set a threshold and the website will email you alerting you when funds are running low.
4. The price of milk is 50 cents and can be purchased at ala carte.
5. Ala carte prices are posted in the cafeteria.
6. IOU notices will be sent home with the student. Please remember to add additional funds over and above what is in arrears so the account does not revert to having a negative balance. We discourage you from running a negative balance with the cafeteria. It makes it difficult for us to meet our financial obligations. All accounts must be paid in full at the end of the school year or you will be denied access to your child’s report card.
